Beginner and intermediate level string classes are held on Saturday afternoons from 3:40 to 5:00 pm at the St Bartholomew’s Church, 16275 Pomerado Rd in Poway! See specific dates, below.  Please register online.  Payment can be made online with registration, or by check made out to ‘YPOSD’ on the first day of class.

In this program beginning students learn how to play songs by ear. Music-note-reading is gradually introduced into the weekly classes as students advance to higher levels of performance proficiency.  The program is based on the popular Mark O’Connor method.

Class Requirements (method books should be specific to instrument – violin, viola, cello, bass)

Beginning Class, 3:40-4:00pm
