The Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation, is dedicated to enhancing the musical, social and intellectual growth of musicians of all ages, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds, through inspired instruction, dynamic ensemble rehearsals and exceptional performances.

The YPO Percussion Ensemble Fall Program was a crashing, clanging, banging, success!  Visit our Percussion Ensemble page for highlight videos from our Fall and Summer Sessions!  Winter session begins in February 2021!

Our Drum Power program taught by Juan Sanchez is in partnership with the City Heights Music School (CHMS) and funded, in part, by the California Arts Council and National Arts and Disability Center.  The program offers a special 4-week session to students at Chula Vista High School, a 10-week series through CHMS and an 8-week series through the East Valley Community Center.  Find out more, click here!
